The Barley Street Tavern is here for the performing musician.
We have live music performances on scheduled nights, featuring some great local and regional performers, as well as, national touring acts. This is the music venue to find the best in all music styles.
Barley Street Tavern Performance Statement
To all of our valued friends and patrons:
The new city ordinance allowing Omaha bars to remain open until 2 a.m. goes in to effect in July. Show times will remain as they have been and the additional hour will serve as a time to relax and hangout for a bit after the show has ended. We are also moving our opening time back an hour as well. The door will open at a regular time of 7p.m. after the ordinance goes in to effect.
It has always been the primary goal of the Barley Street Tavern to host original live music. The Barley Street Tavern strives for a unique model for presenting local, regional and national musicians with an outlet for their original creative works. Much effort has been placed into protecting the creative property of musicians. It is respectful and just to not perform copyrighted/licensed works at The Barley Street Tavern. The Barley Street Tavern continues to place emphasis on original works of music performed by the author of the work.
The Barley Street Tavern is celebrating five years of presenting live, original music and we are hoping to continue to bring many more years of quality entertainment. It is the long term goal of The Barley Street Tavern to continue to offer a venue where original creative works of music can be performed for enthusiastic audiences. We appreciate our friends and fans and we hope that you spread the word that live, original entertainment is alive and well at The Barley Street Tavern.
We also want to inform everyone that we are making additional changes to our myspace account that will disable the account. There have been many issues related to the account that are no longer sustainable for continued use. Please use this site for contact, information, and calendar.
